Hallo,

mirroselect -a -s10 führt bei mir immer zu

Woran kann es liegen ?

Falls der Rechner hinter einem Router sitzt, kanns daran liegen, daß der nicht als Proxy bekannt ist (--> eintragen in Umgebungsvariablen ftp_proxy, http_proxy, RSYNC_PROXY).

Hallo,

ich habe auch das oben genannte Problem. Kann es sein, dass ich in meinem Router noch Ports freigeben muß ?
Weil der Download der Pakete (Portage und stage) lief auch problemlos.
Falls ich aber doch einen Proxy eintragen muß, dann sagt mir bitte genau wie und wo ich das machen kann.

Schonmal vielen Dank im Voraus.

mach mal auf einer shell ein export http_proxy "dein_proxy" && export ftp_proxy "dein_proxy", wenn da geht kannst du das fest eintragen.

sitzt überhaupt hinter ner firewall?

weil soweit ich weiß ist diese funktion in dieser version nämlich verbugged

im auswahlfenster nimmst du einfach ein paar deutsche server
als tip: schau auf der homepage nach einem server mit ipv6 und ipv4 (die sind meistens nicht so voll)

Also ich hab das mit dem Mirrorselect nun sein lassen. Da es auch so recht gut zu installieren ging. Beim Updaten meines Portage Trees hab ich dann das webrsync anstatt des normalen sync verwendet. Alles andere läuft ja ohne Probs.

man kann die daten auch manuell ins make.conf eingeben

*lol*... du scherzkeks. Dann bräuchte ich auch kein Mirrorselect, das für mich den schnellsten Server raussucht.

An dieser Stelle sage ich nur... erst denken, dann schreiben 8)
