I'm trying to configure my MX700 logithech mouse but at every command (xev, xmodmap) i get
Code: | [command]: unable to open display '' | also if i pass -display option i cannot get the right display.. what cold i do?..
Also i havn't the imwheel command that i've seen throgh the forums..... lol.. help! |

did you startx before running xmodmap ?
the other app:
x11-misc/imwheel

Are you trying all those as root?
You need to issue
before using su to switch to root user. |

anyway.. i've just found out i should emerge imwheel before^^ so in the end what should i do to make the MX700 work? The posts about that are so long and confusing and say so many different settings.. |
