i have a strange problem:
when i try to remove (copy, chmod,etc..) the file: "nsIScript^foaderObserver.idl"(and some more files containing special characters like "=") i get an error claiming the file doesn't exist. ("cannot stat file: blah" or "blah: no such file or directory").
i'm using reiserfs, and bash - i also tried other shells (csh, tcsh) but i didn't succeed. i'm sure that i have the correct permissions on the parent directory, but i can't find out the filemodes (i see the files with "ls" but not with "ls -l")

thanx for your help

Sounds a bit like the problem in this thread: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=16200. The resolution there was to do a fsck.
