I want to use Gentoo with my wireless card. (This one: http://www.trust.com/products/product.aspx?artnr=13645 ). But I don't know if it works with the Gentoo LiveCD. I want to do a stage 1 install. Does anybody know if this card works with the liveCD, and if it doesn't works which drivers I have to use? _________________ Watch out, i'll byte! |

According to http://atheros.rapla.net/, your card, the Trust SpeedShare Turbo Pro is based on the Atheros chipset. Meaning it will need the madwifi drivers (madwifi.sourceforge.net). When I last used the LiveCD, it did not include these drivers. It may have changed since then, but I would not count on it. And remember, google is your friend. |

Thanks. Google is also my best friend on the internet, but Google could not find what I was looking for. Is it possible to use this drivers on a livecd by example mounting another CD containing the driver? _________________ Watch out, i'll byte! |

I've just booted Gentoo 2005.0 Universal Live CD and guess what? My Network card has been found. What do I need to do to configure my Wireless network? _________________ Watch out, i'll byte! |
