Yes, you need to mout the floppy manually unless you set up supermount.
It can mount all your removable media when they are inserted, as long as it can detect the insertion.

You need umask=007, gid=100 in the floppy line and you need to be in the floppy group, much the same as you need for NTFS, since VFAT does not support permissions.. You can use ext2 on floppies if your want but Windows cannot read them then _________________ Regards,
