Hi,

I have problem viewing Chinese in GAIM. The strange thing is the Chinese nickname of my buddies are displayed properly, but not their messages or Info... However, if the other users is using GAIM too, that I can see the Chinese message. Is it because it can't phrase BIG5 encoding? How can I set the default encoding in GAIM?

My USE flag has cjk nls (since ever) and ZH_TW on it already, and I have many Chinese fonts installed. The fact that I can see Chinese filename in konsole and Chinese in firefox implies it isn't font issues.
