Etox isn't needed for anything except eRSS - it's abandoned. You can probably just skip it.

etox is needed _ONLY_ for eRSS. etox fixed in CVS meanwhile, should be in anonymous in a few hours

also fixed in CVS.

for the future to avoid such questions: you guys are dealing with CVS stuff, and sometimes things are broken. in case of enlightenment see http://cia.navi.cx/stats/project/e/ and you'll see if stuff got fixed already. and the e-devel/users mailing list archives tell you if someone already reported that issue ;)

Thanx for the info...

BTW: The ewl ebuild is referencing etox as a needed component, but that's not true... - I have removed the dependency and ewl builds fine ;)...

BTW2: Does anyone know if eRSS will be supported in the future (asking, cause it seems that etox has been abandoned) ??

I know that it CVS stuff and considered not-stable or alpha/beta, but i didnt know where to report bugs to or where to check fixed issues. So the first best place i could think of was to report it here. Maybe those two infos gimpel gave should be added to the CVS warning when emerging. By the way, thanks for the infos gimpel! I will subscribe to those mailing lists.
