Well I am looking to put togeather a MySQL, EMail(ICMP),FTP,HTTP, and Counter Strike.
I was wondering if any of you guys had something nice that could be administered very easily, and for example, adding email addresses i just want it held in a MySQL database along with the FTP users. Do you have any recommendation that are free. |

Check out www.clarkconnect.com
The home version is free and is very easy to administer. The only thing you will have to add manually is the game server, but that will be the same for any distro you choose. |

You need to be more specific.
If all you want is to add/remove email and ftp users, you don't need any crazy MySQL tables, that just makes it more comlex.
In general though, you can go to freshmeat.net to look for server management interfaces. |

Administer what? You can't just have a 'server adminstration' package. 'Server' is as broad a term as 'software' What exactly you want it to do? There are tons of ways to manage a linux box.
I think perhaps you will want to look at using Fadora, Mandravia, or Suse. Gentoo is awsome, but not always easy for people new to linux. |

Have you looked at webmin?
It runs on top of Gentoo to manage many services. Although it does have a GUI interface, its not dummy proof, you still need general knowledge about the services you are running.
I run Gentoo as my only desktop OS, but for speed of setup and ease of administration, there are easier distros specifically tailored for server duties. |
