Yes this is a stupid question probably but it only lists the images on my digital camera under root? It detects the camera itself on both root and my user though. _________________ Gentoo-2.6.12-r6 |

Is the camera connected using USB? If so, is your user login a member of the USB group? |

Failed to connect to camera. Please make sure its connected properly and trned on.

If you're using gphoto there was a change in PAM that affected the hotplug script. Check in the forum or in bugs.gentoo.org for a fix to use group based hotplug script. |

There is a gphoto script in my hotplug folder. I'm not sure what to do
