Well, everything working except DVD playback, any way to make Xine play encrypted DVD's or should I sue the MPAA?
Alternatively, any way to get Ogle to paly DVD's better? I've always used Ogle under Red Hat and its worked great, but under Gentoo, the Audio is very skippy, Ive got a Sound blaster live 5.1 card, and the sound works everywhere else just fine, but playing DVD's in Ogle it skips all over, any way to optimize that? The video is also very skippy, I've never had this problem under Red Hat what's the deal? |

Personally I use vlc to play DVD's and VCD's. To make Xine play encrypted DVD's you need the d5d plugin (available as an emerge).
I have no idea about your Ogle problem because I have never used it, sorry.
Hope this helps. _________________ Postcount ++ |
