|
|
Hi,
I was using my gentoo linux when i suddenly wasn't able to login anymore. I tried to su to another user, and got this error: "su: module not found".
I tried to reboot, but now, when I try to login i get "login failed" after i've typed any username. It doesn't even prompt for the password. I cannot remeber any changes i've done that may affect this.

Please, before posting, search the forums and use google. Googling your error lead to this: http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2004/07/msg00801.html
While this is for a Debian system, the thread should at least give you an idea of what is wrong, and how to fix it. _________________ Please remember to add [SOLVED] to your topic subject line when it is solved. |
