Hello, If I didnt want my eth0 to boot up an grab an IP right away, How would I obtain an IP once booted. When I want to connect using my wireless and not wired, my laptop hangs on trying to get a IP from dhcp. I would rather just manually set whicever interface after I boot up. I use ' ifconfig eth0 up' which brings it up but doesnt get an IP. Hope this makes sense???
