ok i want to host multiple domains on my mail server
all the users will have accounts and it is true that the user john will get email for all john@domains i host. all my mail tho is being sent at john @host.domain.com how do i make it just send it as john@domain.com
do i have to change the hostname on my box? or do i just have to set the reply to address in all my mail clients? |

The way that i have it setup, john@localdomain can only get mail for john@localdomain, he cant get mail for join@vhostedomain1 or john@vhosteddomain2.
THere is a good article in linux journal this month on postfix and ldap, it mentions how to setup vhosting with postfix. Great stuff. |

Hello,
this one should help to get a general understanding, how the
postfix address rewriting works.
