i am trying to install a hawking technology hwc54d wireless networking card, based on the rt2500, on my laptop. i have done emerge rt2500 but i am not sure what i am supposed to do after that. i have tried searching and trying stuff, for about a week, and i almost got it working once, but then it stopped working, so i am not sure what to do now. i am still looking for something to help me, but if you wouldn't mind, i would like help with this.

it has started to see my access point, but decides that it won't connect properly. it says that it is connected but it won't get anything from my network or the internet.
