(but the game doesn't crash, just a blank screen and music!)
I'm running 2.6.11 Kernel, nvidia 6771, gentoo 64bit @ amd 64 @ 3200+, Kingston DDR 400 (testet FSB 166, same too)
cedega 4.3 (also testet newer versions but i was told it runs best with 4.3), xorg-6.8.2-r2
I blasted my hole transgaming dirs and configs away serveral times and reinstalled cedega, nothing changed!
i would be very thankfull if anybody has any ideas how to solve or can give me a hint what to try etc.... :=)
With Windows the game just runs fine
mfg

okay, i emerged wine today (can wine and cedega co-exist?), installed mozilla and so on....,
the game still crashes but here wine quits with an error message

i will take a closer look into my xorg config, but i'm still thankfull for help
**okay, solved it!
i changed the color deep to 24, disabled cursorshadows and disabled the Composite Extension! _________________ Linux is like a Wigwam - no Gates, no Windows and a Apache inside |

that's exactly what I was going to tell you, to change the color depth to 24... anyway I don't think you have to disable the composite extention. Just don't have any composite manager running together with apps using the opengl accell... and yes, you can have cedega and wine installed at the same time |
