GFTP... problem with foreign chars?

Hey all...

I am moving a lot of files with german names recently, stored on a Windows 2000 ftp server...

I have been using GFTP all along case I really like its GUI, but it appears to choke whenever it encounters a foreign char. (like ü for instance).

When it encounters one of these chars, it will sometimes work, but most of the time either rename the char to something completely different, or just skip the file all together..

I merged ftpcube and it does not have this same problem, but I find the GUI ghastly...

Does anyone have any suggestions for another client that works well, or a way to fix GFTP?
