Hey, i have an Asus P4C800 motherboard with a 3Com 3c940 ethernet card in it, it worked during installation but now when my configured system comes up it tells me it can't start eth0, missing services needed netmount not set. Is this an inability to detect a driver or is this some configuration problem. I selected what I believed to be the relevant driver in the kernel when I compiled it.

What driver did you attempt to use. that card work with the sk98lin drivers. Boot of the Live CD then type in modprobe sk98lin. Then network will work.
