hi everybody,
I have a dual head setup with two CRT monitors. I use nvidia drivers.
Everything works perfectly except that the right monitor does not display the green color, resulting in a purple 'white' and a black 'green' .

I know the monitor and the cable to work well (i tested them on another box). Here are relevant parts of my xorg.conf file:

Code:

Section "ServerLayout"
        Identifier     "Dual Head"
        Option         "Xinerama" "on"
        Screen         0       "Screen0"
        InputDevice    "Mouse0" "CorePointer"
        InputDevice    "Keyboard0" "CoreKeyboard"
EndSection

Section "Module"
        Load  "extmod"
#       Load  "dri"
        Load  "dbe"
        Load  "record"
        Load  "xtrap"
        Load  "glx"
        Load  "type1"
        Load  "freetype"
EndSection

Section "Device"
        Identifier  "Card0"
        Option      "RenderAccel"       "true"
        Driver      "nvidia"
        Option "NoLogo"
        Option      "NvAGP" "1"
        VendorName  "nVidia Corporation"
        BoardName   "NV34 [GeForce FX 5200]"
        BusID       "PCI:1:0:0"
EndSection

Section "Screen"
        Identifier "Screen0"
        Device     "Card0"
        Monitor    "Monitor0"
        DefaultColorDepth 24

        Option "ConnectedMonitor" "CRT,CRT"
        Option "TwinView" "on"
        Option "SecondMonitorHorizSync" "29-82"
        Option "SecondMonitorVertRefresh" "60-70"
        Option "Metamodes" "1600x1200, 1600x1200"
        Option "TwinViewOrientation" "RightOf"
        Option "Xinerama" "on"

        SubSection "Display"
                Viewport   0 0
                Depth     24
                Modes "1600x1200"
        EndSubSection
EndSection

thanks,

Does the VIDEO CARD work well? Try switching the two monitors and see what it gives then.

yeah i'm quite sure that the pinholes are OK but maybe it's internal. I don't have the necessary hardware to test the card tough (oscilloscope,...)
