Hi,
I've just set up gnupg. I'm very happy with that, I've uploaded my public key to my web page and I'm about to upload my key to a server. I'm just worrying about spammers. (On my homepage, I use an anti-spam email address.) So my question is basicly this: is there a way for spammers to access masses of email addresses on servers? Interestingly "gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --search-keys John" gives no hit, so maybe there is a defense against this at the server side. |

Good. As is it really worth it to upload your public key? I mean have you ever received an encrypted message from anyone who found your key on the public server? |
