|
|
Hello,
I bought a HP DV1255 just a few days ago, and of course I want to put in it, the great Gentoo. Altough I have a few questions.
This laptop is a Centrino 1.6Ghz, wich release should I install if I want to install Gentoo from Stage 3? How can I get a wireless connection on Gentoo so that I can install it doing the emerge command?
Thank You.

That's for the wireless problem, isn't it? [Gracias nixnut]
How about the release? X86? Pentium4? any other?
Thanks |

Centrino means a pentium M which is based on the pentium3 so you'll want x86 or i686, definitely not athlon or pentium4. _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered
