mounting audio cd

running kernel 2.6.12-gentoo-r4 on a Pentium 4


I have a DVD-ROM on /dev/hda and CD-RW on /dev/hdb, niether one will mount. Both say "can't read superblock"
This is with Audio-CD in both and the audio cd works in my cd-player and windows xp.


What am I doing wrong?

(I tried to reply to my prior post but it was denied because only moderator could reply)

I have tried to use xmms and could not, I have tried mount -t iso9660 /dev/hda /mnt/cdrom and that doesn't work, any other suggestions?
