Can anyone recommend a portable ssh client? I'd like it to be multi-platform if possible, but Windows is a must. I wanna be able to emerge stuff from work, without installing stuff on the company's computer. Cuz they have fits if you do that kind of thing.

Putty should do everything you need.. It runs on windows and most other platforms, including symbian mobile phones Its just an exe so no need to install on your work machines, just run it....
Check out the windows version @ http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/ |

I agree Putty is everyone's best friend. It's really easy to use. |

If you aren't able to install Putty on your work computer (since I would also recommend Putty), then Knoppix may be an option. Boot into Knoppix (or other Live-CD) and then SSH to your Gentoo box. _________________ Josh Miller -- RHCE, VCP

puTTY is a standalone exe in Windows, so you don't need to 'install' it. |

That depends on how you define an install. Installing an application can be as simple as copying the executable to the proper location. What does the local security policy have 'install' defined as? _________________ Josh Miller -- RHCE, VCP
