Hello,

I just upgraded to KDE 3.4.1. When I now make a right-click, several context menu entries are no longer there. These are the Delete option (I can now only move to Trash) and the options to pack and unpack things (Extract, Extract herer, Compress ...).

I don't habe the split KDE-version but the "whole" one.

I found a thread here, that said, one should go to Settings->Configure Konqueror for the Delete option, but in my Settings menu, there is no entry about configuring the Konqueror.

Can anyone help me?

Bye,
beaker

It's in there. Within Konqueror open Configure Konqueror and in the menu to the left select "Behaviour". There's a checkbox now that says "Show "delete" Context Menu entries that bypass the trashcan".
And thx for telling me where to look for it. I was annoyed by that setting too :)

Oh, ok, seems like I was a little blind :-)

Now I have the Delete entry. But I still haven't found a solution for the missing extract and compress options ...

Im having similar problems. Under "Create New", I don't have "directory" as an option. Kind of frustrating.
