Hi,
Was just wondering if it's possible to mount a ntfs filesystem while logged in as an user.
When logged in as root I can mount my windows-xp partitions without any problems and read and execute the files. But now I need to be logged in as root when I want to open my personal files. I tried to add the partitions to /etc/fstab with options ro,user, noauto, noatime. That made it possible to mount the partition by users but I still can't read it logged in as user. The directory stays only r and x permitted for root....
Anybody if and how it's possible? I saw a write to ntfs option in the kernel, anybody knows how safe it is?
Thanks,
