Hello,
I was trying to bood from the ppc minimal install disk, but when I thy to start the kernel, the screen goes black and nothing happens (even after extended periods of time). Anybody know what the problem is? I have a G4 iMac. Thanks. |

You can try to force it to OpenFirmware video instead by passing video=ofonly to your kernel on boot. It may be that the video driver isn't working correctly. _________________ Gentoo PPC FAQ: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-ppc-faq.xml |
