Ran Ogle. Scanned for Virus?!?

Something very strange has just occurred to me and I can't find reference to it happening to anyone on these forums, on the web, or in newsgroups. Anyone got any ideas?

Ran ogle to load a legit copy of Office Space (the movie).
I get the usual FBI notices.
Then a blue screen with a box that says "system check" "Press enter to scan for DVD virus"
And no way to click around it.

I am not amused.

Anybody know what's happening to me?

It looks to be a funny haha from Fox Video. I loaded the movie on my TV and it is readily apparent there that it is part of the DVD's menu gimmickery.

I am so fscking not amused.

This is as witty as hollering Fire! in a movie theater, or telling the gaurd at an airlline checkpoint that you've got a bomb in your luggage. Not that it's going to do any good but I intend on sending Fox Video a bitch in an email.

What suprised me was that nowhere on the net did I find any reference to this singular piece of stupidity. I know I wouldn't have given it a second thought if I'd set the movie up on my TV but on the computer these kinds of messages are alarming.
