Possible to obtain older kernel?

I'm having a hardware problem with my SATA card - it's kernel panicking loading the kernel driver. After some research, I found a couple of people that have said that ever since 2.6.8 the driver for that particular card seems to be broken. That reverting back to 2.6.7 kernel fixes the kernel panic and the card works fine.

I would like to try this, but the earliest 2.6 gentoo-sources kernel is 2.6.9. Is there a way for me to get 2.6.7 gentoo-sources kernel on this box?

There is a 2.6.7 vanilla which I'm going to try to use this afternoon during lunch, but I'd like to use gentoo-sources.

Well according to the Gentoo sources Changelog, the last release was on March 5 2005.
