Hi all,

I'm looking for a STUN Proxy for my Gentoo box. Im using an Asterisk 1.0.9 PBX for my VoIP clients. This works very well, but i have a problem with the roadwarriors. They us a Citrix Secure Gateway SSL VPN to connect to the Headquater. This Gateway NAT's all the traffik from outside into the coporate network. The problem is that the softphones sends their IP as the destination for the SIP replys an that's wrong. The Asterisk shoud send it to the internal address of the Gateway so that this can deliver it to the connected warrior. So my suggestion was using a STUN internal to tell the softphone what is the internal gateway address...

Have anyone running a STUN under Gentoo? Any proposals for an OpenSource STUN Server or any other solutions to solve the Problem???

Thanks for help...

THX

Hi once again,

I've solved the problem right now! You hve just to set teh option nat=yes in the user section in the sip config for your NATed VPN users. This lat Asterisk ignore the SIP Header data and use just the connection properties from the VPN gateway. So all works fine!
