You missed Code: | mount proc -t proc /mnt/gentoo/proc | before you entered the chroot.
If you have set the password with the passwd command, you can long in at VT2 (Press Alt-F2) do the command now and press Alt-F1 to continue.
If you don't know the root passwd, you need to exit the chroot, do the command and re-enter the chroot. _________________ Regards,
