im getting this error. thinking that it may be a problem that there might already be a /lib/libm.so and no lib.so.3 i tryed copying it and still got same error. any idea gents?
[17:16:55] [root @ NetBSD] / # emerge
!!! Failed to complete python imports. There are internal modules for
!!! python and failure here indicates that you have a problem with python
!!! itself and thus portage is no able to continue processing.
!!! You might consider starting python with verbose flags to see what has
!!! gone wrong. Here is the information we got for this exception:
Shared object "libm.so.3" not found |

Moved from Portage & Programming to Gentoo on Alternative Architectures.
As far as I know portage is not supported on netbsd yet. You could contact the gentoo/BSD team (http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/gentoo-alt/bsd/fbsd/index.xml) if you want to try to get it working. There is still an overlay for openbsd somewhere on the net, perhaps you can use that to base your netbsd setup on. |

i tryed both the FreeBSD and the OpenBSD ones, neither of them worked. support for NetBSD would be great. |
