Links (browser) won't open links in new window

I use Fluxbox, and although I use konqueror for "heavier" browsing (like these forums), I like to use links-graphical for things like reading my webcomics or slashdot. However, I can't seem to open links in new windows: A new window does open when I right-click a link and select New Window, but it gives a host-not-found error. The URL it reports is http://[the actual URL encoded for GET form submission, including a second http]. Obviously borken. Any ideas?
