When I try to burn a cd with cdrdao I just get this output
Code: | # cdrdao write --device ATA:1.1.0 dub.toc
Cdrdao version 1.2.0 - (C) Andreas Mueller <andreas@daneb.de>
SCSI interface library - (C) Joerg Schilling
Paranoia DAE library - (C) Monty
Check http://cdrdao.sourceforge.net/drives.html#dt for current driver tables.

You seem to have run into a known bug.

So I tested with -O3, -O2 and -Os without success. But removing any optimization
switches - which makes GCC fallback to O0 - does the trick and cdrdao now works.
Looks like a cdrdao-specific problem, non-ebuild/gentoo related.

It doesn't seem to work for me. I have the same strange behaviour, so I recompiled the application without the optimization flags... I get the same result:
Code: |
# cdrdao write --device ATA:0,1,0 --driver generic-mmc burn.cue
Cdrdao version 1.2.0 - (C) Andreas Mueller <andreas@daneb.de>
SCSI interface library - (C) Joerg Schilling
Paranoia DAE library - (C) Monty
Check http://cdrdao.sourceforge.net/drives.html#dt for current driver tables.

Is it possible that this is because of the amd64 architecture I use?
EDIT: Downgrading to cdrdao-1.1.9 solves the problem on the amd64 architecture. |
