|

Hi everyone. Now that I have hardware compositing on my desktop, I thought I'd search out an application that behave similar to the Mac's launcher bar - at least in that the icons scale on the rollover. It's just so pretty!!! No real use however... |

The yab desklet for adesklets will do that for you. Never seen the mac one so I don't know if it's exactly the same, but at least the yab thingy does what you describe.
There is an app called engage that looks really nifty, but I haven't tried it myself. |

Thanks for the quick reply, I've emerge adesklets, but what package do the desklets themselves come in? I can't seem to find the proper ebuild... |

I played with the same thought en ended up with a program called kxdocker. It's originally KDE but it;s working perfectly with fvwm and gnome. Just search for the name |

If your on KDE, kxdocker is worth a shot. Or maybe KSmoothDock is more to your needs. _________________ iMac G4 1GHz :: q6600 //2x 500GB//2GB RAM//8600GT//Gentoo :: MacBook Pro//2.53GHz |
