Well, as the title implies, I'm trying to compile rep-gtk-0.18-r1 on my path to compiling sawfish for Gnome. I'm getting an error message that isn't very helpful to me and I was hoping that someone might be able to help me.:

libtool: compile: specify a tag with '--tag'
make: *** [reptypes.lo] Error 1
!!! ERROR: x11-libs/rep-gtk-0.18-r1 failed.

My favorite line is the one that says "no error message"  Anyhow, as always, any hints or friendly words are appreciated.

| try ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge rep-gtk, it's what i try when stuff desnt compile!!! |

I get the same type of error when trying to emerge x11-wm/sawfish:
libtool: compile: unable to infer tagged configuration
