cdrdao does not support this dvd+rw.
Its from an HP pavilion zd7260us. anyone know of alernative methods of burning cd's DAO other than cdrdao?
Potentially useful output.

Nevermind.
Remerged cdrdao without -O? flags and it works.
Any reason why the ebuild doesnt force this? |

Thanks for posting this! the problem was driving me nuts.
Is it just me or are the dvd/cd burning options for linux flaky?
growisofs locks up consistently, and prodvd has that wierd license thingy,
plus, I wrestled with getting DMA speeds forever (finally using ATA: seems to work)

i commited 1.2.0-r1 version that fix that bug. try it
