Hi guys!
I have a little problem here:

I'm gonna bump this because I'm still having the same problem.
Just emerge synced a minute ago and still no go. If the problem is not a broken ebuild, what is it?
What's up with these hunks anyway?  |

| I don't know what that error is from, but I would recommend using 2.4.0.7 and emerge it with USE='-gtk2'. |

2.4.0.7 isnt in portage, is it? Did emerge rsync but I get
"emerge: there are no masked or unmasked ebuilds to satisfy "dev-python/wxPython-2.4.0.7"."

Yeah, it should be there, and 2.4.0.6. Does emerge tell you that when you use ACCEPT_KEYWORDS='~x86' emerge wxPython?
I put in a request to un-mask 2.4.0.7, since 2.4.0.2 is so far behind the latest release (2.4.1.2).
