Dopo avere aggiornato kdebase, ho dovuto eseguire questo comando a mano:

echo "ROOTPATH=/usr/kde/3.4/bin">>/etc/env.d/99kde-env

altrimenti i binari di kde non venivano inseriti nel $PATH di ambiente.

Succede a qualcun'altro? potrebbe un baco dell'ebuild?

Qui nessun problema, ROOTPATH è stato inserito automaticamente in /etc/env.d/46kdepaths-3.4. Hai fatto un aggiornamento dell'ambiente dopo l'installazione?
