Well, i was following the handbook, when it asked to enter the mirror i want to use for updating
the code was something like
Code: | mirrorselect -i -o /mnt/etc........ |
I want to know, if i can do this once i've installed gentoo, because atm my network isn't working and i've tried installing it several times and all it sais is unable to connect.
I have the full universal disc. |

If you want to do a networkless install you won't need to use mirrorselect. You just won't be able to emerge anything via the network while you can't connect. You may want to use the packages cd which contains binary packages.
