sobald ich einen kernel kompiliert habe und versuche mit:
Code: | make dep && make clean bzImage modules modules_install |
abzuschließen, bricht dieser vorgang bei mir mitten drin (in der zeile: Code: | Find kernel -path '*/pcmcia/*' -name "*.o* I xargs -i -r -ln sf ../ {} pcmcia
if [ -r System.map ]; then /sbin/depmod -ae -F System.map 2.4.20-gentoo-r1; fi |
woran liegt das?
pcmcia is gar nicht aktiviert (brauche ich auch nicht)

Bei mir kommt diese Meldung auch, jedoch klappt bei mir alles ohne Probleme. Ist deine bzImage im Verzeichnis /usr/src/linux/arch/i386/boot vorhanden, wenn ja müßte der kernel auch laufen. |

hast Du nur
# make dep clean bzImage
schon probiert?
da sollte dann stehen, warum der kernel nicht kompiliert wurde.
Allerdings müßte er an dem Punkt den Du beschrieben hast
schon längst kompiliert worden sein;
den symlink linux -> linux-2.4.20-gentoo-r1
hast Du auch gesetzt, oder? |
