Bonjour a tous ..mon probleme est que je vien d emerge xorg et je voudrai utilisé fvwm mai je n arrive pas a lancé X j ai essayé de le configurer manuelement automatiquement a l aide des manuel disponibles sur gentoo.org mai je n y arrive point :roll:
voici ce k il se passe lors de start x
ma carte graph est une S3 prosabageDDR
pc portable packard bell easynote e3263W

visiblement c'est un problème de souris, docn si tu nous montre la config de ta souris dans ton xorg.conf, on devrait pouvoir t'aider.
Faut aussi que tu précise quel genre de connecteur a ta souris (ps2, usb, serial)
Parce que manifestement ta souris n'est pas connecté sur /dev/mouse

enfin, je pense, mais en fournissant les infos précitées ben y a bien quelqu'un qui trouvera la solution

Il y a de grandes chances pour que tu dois remplacer

Option "Device"      "/dev/mouse"

par
Code:
Option "Device"      "/dev/input/mice"

si ta souris est connectée en USB.
Si tu possède une souris en ps/2 il s'agira de
Code:
Option "Device"      "/dev/psaux"

d accors je vai essayé cela mai avant tout comment on fai pour changé cela
Ma souri est effectivement une souri USB...Dsl si j ai l air un peu nOOb mai bon ça fai 2 jours que je suis sur ma Gentoo

Ceci dit j'ai toujours configuré ma source en /dev/psaux et que ce sois en usb ou ps2 voire meme touchpad ca passes :p

attends tu l'as configuré ou pas Xorg?
sinon tu as un super utilitaire en mode texte ou tu réponds à des questions et hop il t'écrit un xorg.conf, c'est pratique. c'est :

faut pas oublier de refaire le coup de la souris après.

Bah c'est presque normal, il y a une option, activée par défaut, dans le noyau pour que la souris en /dev/input/mice etc.. soit aussi accessible en /dev/psaux ;)
