when i try to mount my ipod, it mounts but only as read only. it says i need to run fsck.hfsplus, but i am not sure how to do that. i have searched, and it said hpfsck will do it, but it says:
*** Checking Volume Header:
hpfsck: hpfsck: Neither Wrapper nor native HFS+ volume header found (Unknown error 4294967295)
does anyone know how to get this to work? thank you. |

| when trying to get this to work, i messed up my ipod. when i try to mount it, it asks for the filesystem type. i tell it hfsplus but it says it is wrong. is there anyway to recover the data from my ipod? or is this when i am glad i made a backup that i would never need on my other computer? |
