How can I "hide" a folder wihtin konqueror (KDE 3.4.2)? I want to hide folders for users (like lost+found) so that they aren't confused . I already tried a .directory file with "hidden=true" but that didn't help...

isn't lost+found supposed to be only in the root of the mounted filesystem ? not in the individual folders ?
what other "confusing" folders are you talking about ? |

This was just a concrete example. In this case, I have an external storage (hd) mounted into the file system tree. So from a user perspective there is a "lost+found" within a group folder which can't be accessed nor deleted by them. And this will confuse them when they don't know that it is another filesystem which is simply mounted or even don't know what lost+found is supposed to be. |
