Hi,
Okay. I have a Dual Intel Xeon 2.66ghz Machine (not dual core or EM64). I'm trying to get the most out of this system but still be stable.
Uses for server:
Game Servers (Half-Life, UT2003/4)
FTP Server (accessing game files)
What CFLAGS would be best to use for this situation?
Thanks |

I'm using this setting on a dual XEON 2.4:
Code: | CFLAGS="-O3 -pipe -march=pentium4 -fomit-frame-pointer"
CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu"
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}" |
with 2.6.11-mm4 kernel.
Deactivating the Hyperthreading made the system a little faster (that may depend on the running software) and more stable.
