without the xorg.conf file X will use it's (minimal) default settings

if it works like you want to: don't change it! You'll probably mess more up then do good.

if you don't like the current settings: go to the docs and find the manual for setting up X

Try running X with the new file xorgconf wrote for you without copying the file to xorg.conf.

cmd> X newcorg.conf <<or whatever xorgconf names it.

This should get you into X?

http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/xorg-config.xml

That link should be plastered in 48 pt text on the top of the forums.

And you shood know, with out veterans and tux litel helpers i shood steel be lost. so thanks to all of you .
But only becorse you have a problem with x, it is not the same as you downt have tread the x manuel, some time like in my case it can be somting els.
