We have a dual opteron RHEL4 box that hosts a couple of very critical websites, but has a surprisingly low load. I would like to put it to further use by hosting a couple less critical things (e.g. a mediawiki) using a gentoo chroot, since I cannot risk messing with the RHEL4's apache, mysql, etc.
Is there any way I can safely configure the hosts's apache to seamlessly redirect requests to specific virtual hosts to an apache running in the chroot? Or is there a better way to accomplish this? _________________ "Mr Thomas Edison has been up on the two previous nights discovering 'a bug' in his phonograph." --Pall Mall Gazette (1889)
