|

I'm running a full GNOME 2.10 desktop with Evolution fetching from my university and GMail accounts. I was wondering if there was any option buried in Evolution or perhaps another mail client that has implemented the kind of "conversation view" that GMail has in its web client? You know, where you can see the current message and every other message in the thread all on one screen.
I hope I don't have to hack something together for Evolution |

Why dont you just forward your university mail to gmail, and use gmails web interface. I don't think theres a interface out there up to par with gmails. |

Two reasons against that:
1. My University mail won't forward anything (or I'm too stupid to figure it out)
2. One of the reasons I started to use a client at all is that I find the Beagle e-mail
search utility really cool, and I can't use that on gmail (which is where I get
most of the email I want to search from).
I find it hard to believe that no-one has emulated such a good idea yet, GMail's been around for what... a year now? |

Awesome. Looks like the guy is doing a good job. When I get the chance, I'll fire up CVS and give it a whirl. |
