|

Hey guys, quick questions from a Linux nooblet. I just reached part 7 (configuring your kernel) in the x86 install handbook. I was wondering if I can shutdown the computer now and return to my work. I shutdown at an earlier stage and lost everything I had done prior. Also, is "shutdown now" the command I use?
Also, the part where defining the USE variable in part 6, can I skip this and redefine it later?
Thanks a bunch for the help! |

Yes to both questions. Just boot the livecd, mount the partitions, chroot and pick up where you left off with the install. _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered
