|
|
Ok here is the deal: I can use ssh on my local network, but need to know if I can access my main computer remotly.
The problem is: none of my friends that I can call can check if a remote connection will suffice.
So, I need a favor from someone:
It is very simply, just type ssh [will add IP when I want people to check] and report back here if you get a password prompt.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Edit: If you don't see a password prompt, report back as well .

Doesn't appear to be working. Check your firewall. _________________ Underwater photo gallery

Ok got it working.
For those of you that read this thread in the future and are using a Linksys Router: Go to you router Security options and disable "Filter Internet NAT Redirection". |
