OK, i am completley lost. I was left with linux on my comp.

I want to play music from certain sites that have real play and it wont load, what do i do, please help me?

Well, assuming the linux you have is Gentoo, you should

#emerge realplayer

That's the simplest way. Mplayer can also play these files in most cases, but you'd need to emerge it with the "real" use flag enabled. If you plan on sticking with gentoo, you might want to do some reading up on portage (emerging, use flags, syncing, etc.)
