Happy to report I've completed another install and things are working beutifully as always with Gentoo, almost. First, I've got a question, then I'll follow it up with a problem/quirk.

1.) Prior to my most recent install, I decided to put my config files on a floppy. I put grub.conf, kernel config, make.conf, fstab etc all on the floppy so that I could just mount it during the install and cp it to the correct location, saving me some time. For whatever reason though, I could not mount the floppy during install even though I had formatted it with the ext2 fs. My question is this, can I re-burn the install CD and include my important config files? If so,
can I cp from the mounted cdrom to my system?

2.) As I said, things are almost perfect. I've got the Logitech "Cordless Elite Duo". I configured the keyboard in X as a Logitech Internet something or other. It works fine except for the backspace key which produces a q. The strange thing is that if I reboot, the problem goes away for about 3-12 hours after which time it starts again. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
